21 Aug Pet-friendly holidays made pawsome in Cornwall
Four-legged friends needn’t ruff it in Cornwall this summer with a stay at luxury seaside bolt-hole the Talland Bay Hotel, which has extended its Wallace & Gromit breaks to include high season and introduced a range of wholesome, locally sourced, handmade treats.
The healthy treats, cooked up especially for Talland Bay Hotel’s canine guests courtesy of Eat Play Bark in Looe, are lovingly made from natural ingredients. All doggy guests at the four-star hotel can look forward to a pamper pack on arrival featuring the home-baked biscuits along with a dog blanket, bowls and feeding mat.
“We’ve been customers of the Talland Bay Hotel many times and both myself and my three doggies love it there,” says Cathy Read of Eat Play Bark, who bakes the treats at home in her kitchen. “It’s a real privilege to supply them with their own Talland-branded biscuits.”
Proud to be one of the most dog-friendly hotels in Cornwall, the Talland Bay Hotel welcomes pups wishing to dine with their owners in the Conservatory restaurant with freshly cooked chicken and local butcher’s sausages. The hotel offers direct access to the South West Coastal path and an all year-round dog-friendly beach.
Now available right through high season a Wallace and Gromit break costs from £300 per room per night in August and September based on two people and one dog, including a three-course dinner in the Conservatory, dog treat on arrival and free accommodation for pooches (usually £12.50 per night).
